DAY 1 :<\/h2>\n <\/div>\n
\n Arrival. There\u2019s the opportunity to stay overnight at our Eco Village camp or on Baobob Island. Alternatively, we can pick you up from your own hotel. <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

DAY 2 :<\/h2>\n <\/div>\n
\n Today we leave our accommodation and, after obtaining our visas to enter Guinea-Bissau, we drive south, crossing the border into Senegal at Jiboro \/ Seleti. But of course we\u2019ll stop on the way to view local wild life and visit colourful markets. There\u2019s also the opportunity to go on a forest walk, and a boat trip. We spend the night in a lodge at Kafountine. <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

DAY 3 : <\/h2>\n <\/div>\n
\n After breakfast, we drive to Kassel Island take a boat trip to Pelican Island, home to many varieties of sea birds and turtles. From there, we continue on to Ziguinchor for lunch, and continue on to Guinea Bissau, crossing the border at Domingos. Tonight we spend the night in the coastal village of Varela in a simple eco lodge. <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

DAY 4 : <\/h2>\n <\/div>\n
\n After breakfast, we have a tour of the village before continuing our drive on to Bissau, the capital of Guinea-Bissau. On the way, we\u2019ll stop to visit a family home in Katel, and walk through rice fields. Tonight we stay in a comfortable hotel in Bissau (the Hotel Imperio or similar) in the heart of the city with colourful, cultural sights and restaurants all close by. <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n <\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

DAY 5 : <\/h2>\n <\/div>\n
\n After breakfast, we take a private boat from the port to Ilha de Orango (Orango Island), one of the Bijag\u00f3s Islands. There\u2019s time for relaxation here, before we head off on a boat trip, wildlife-spotting on nearby Ilha de Bubaque (Bubaque Island). Tonight we stay at a simple lodge (Lodge les Dauphins or similar) <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

DAY 6 : <\/h2>\n <\/div>\n
\n After breakfast, it\u2019s time to head back to the mainland by boat. Then, from Bissau, it\u2019s a drive back north, crossing the border back into Senegal. Tonight we stay in the coastal town of Cap Skirring, where you can enjoy the beach or maybe go shopping for souvenirs. Our accommodation is in a comfortable hotel (the Hotel Maya or similar). <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

DAY 7 : <\/h2>\n <\/div>\n
\n There\u2019s time to take it easy on the beach this morning before we visit the busy fishing port of Cap Skirring and continue our journey. But there are many sights to take in on the way, the cultural museum in Becutte, huge Kapok trees and maybe, just maybe, we will meet the Animist King. Finally, though, we cross the border back into the Gambia. Tonight we either stay at our Eco Lodge, or on Baobab Island, and spend a farewell meal together. <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

DAY 8 : <\/h2>\n <\/div>\n
